"We stayed at Tom and Sharon’s river house for a bachelorette trip and loved the views and quaint house. We commented many times that we felt like we were on a river cruise! Tom was very quick to respond and accommodating leading up to our trip, but we were slightly confused by the check in process as we received a code for the door but also instructions telling us to come to the front porch to get a key and instructions of how to get to the property. "The cabin was beautiful and very clean, Jim was amazing, he greeted us and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The place and town was very peaceful, we are planning to go back for my birthday in a couple of months,however we loved the scenery and surroundings so much that we fully intend to purchase land and make it our new home.Thank you so much again Jim and Effie for sharing your amazing place with others,which allowed us to have such a beautiful experience. "5 adults over Christmas. Fireplace worked well. No problem with hot water with 5 people. Double bed in one room tilted to one side. Resolved by stuffing many pillows under mattress to level bed. Few towels and dishtowels. washer and dryer superb. Great place for our Golden Retriever. Door to back yard passes cold air so heat is on most of the time. Furnaced worked real well. Safety alert:front and back porched are tiled. THEY are very slippery. We had to put rubber yoga mats on...

"Great place to stay at. Close to many restaurants, walking distance to the university campus but a great plus that parking was included. Place had the essentials you needed and kitchen was stocked with all kinds of appliances. Spacious area and beds were comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and parking was included. Would stay here again, would recommend to family and friends."

"Property was spacious and clean, with plenty of toys and stuff to keep kids amused. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked, although we did not use it except for breakfast. David was helpful and very responsive to any questions we had.We would recommend a larger coffee pot and nicer pillows, but otherwise no complaints."

"My friends and I booked this stay so we could visit Six Flags Great Adventure, and the location was perfect distance from the park. Great for a group of 5 or 6, communication with the manager was a bit disjointed but she was friendly and helpful when we arrived. "

"We stayed here while visiting an aunt. We liked the location and it was great having the living area and kitchenette. We were able to get up and make our own breakfast, which was nice. We also packed some lunches as well, and stored some food for dinner with my aunt. Having the kitchenette was key."

"Five old college friends enjoyed a getaway at this beautiful VRVO rental. The kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful and stocked with everything we may need! The hostess was available and welcoming. Overall, it was a great trip at a great location."
