Experience our cherished retreat, THE BARN, nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, near Whiteface Mountain and a short drive to Lake Placid. Surrounded by majestic pines and serene wilderness, our cozy cabin welcomes you.
Inside, you'll find an inviting space where windows frame forest views and mountain peaks. The kitchen's equipped with new appliances and features a spacious island, perfect for family meals and entertaining.
THE BARN offers comfort and relaxation with its new beds. The master bedroom boasts a queen bed, providing a serene retreat after Adirondack adventures. The other bedroom includes a bunk bed with a queen mattress and a single above. Additionally, the living room offers a queen Murphy bed.
Outside, enjoy evenings gathered around the fire table or roasting marshmallows at the campfire pit under starry skies.
THE BARN is your base for hiking, biking, fishing, and skiing adventures, offering a perfect blend of nature's beauty, comfort, and style in the Adirondacks.

Perfect for a quick ski getaway

We stayed for a couple nights - cozy cabin in the perfect location for a quick ski getaway. Close to Whiteface and Lake Placid. Loved that there were board games for the family to play.

Great trip to the mountains!

We had a wonderful time in the Barn cabin, it was very comfortable and clean, it was well stocked and everything we ere looking for for a couple quick nights way. Check in & finding it was very easy with the instructions provided even though we arrived after dark. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible! Do not miss this opportunity!!

What hooked me on this place was the bio from the host Trish and Steve about the transformation of their property and what it means to their family. Growing up for as long as I can remember my family would make our annual trip to the Lake Placid area and stay at the now closed KOA on Fox Farm Rs off Rt 86. Now I have the opportunity to share that same love of the outdoors with a family of my own and this is the perfect place to do it!! We spent our time hiking Cascade Mountain, swimming and fishing nearby. Check in was piece painless and the hosts (Trish and Steve) were quick to answer any questions. For a family of 5 ‘The Barn’ was the amazing outpost (retreat) for hiking, fishing, swimming and close enough to town to grab a bite to eat or do some shopping. *”The Barn” - Brand new! Spotless, corner to corner, fixture to fixture.Just beautiful and the kids absolutely loved this place as they had plenty of space to spread out. *Amenities - Everything you need! Fully stocked. Nothing we needed that wasn’t already there. *Location - Ummhh it’s gorgeous here Centrally located for unlimited hiking trails, swimming and fishing. Wilmington is just minutes away for a small town feel and then you have Lake Placid 15 minutes down the road. Fantastic swimming hole 5 minute drive away near the Flume Falls off 86. I am sure I’ll left some stuff out but you’ll have to explore some of that for yourself!! Do yourself a favor, just book it! Happy Trails…

Great stay at the barn

Perfect place everything‘s beautiful and brand. New beds are way comfortable. Nice little TV nook to relax. Awesome kitchen. It was just fabulous Adirondack cowboy
