"I feel like so often the descriptions for things are misleading! People use language to describe things in a better light than they actually are. This was NOT the case with this stay. Everything was delightful, above and beyond. Things were beautiful, clean, and intentional. We really enjoyed our stay, and the hosts were super accommodating. If my husband and I ever get a night or two away from our kids again, we will surely be back! "

"We loved staying in the barn loft. The staff was so friendly and always willing to help. I felt like it was a home away from home."

"Loved the location. The stairs are steep so not good with kids or those with joint issue. I asked to see the garden twice with no response from host so I was disappointed with that. The air conditioning units in windows cooled the place effectively. Facility provided everything you needed. Loved that we could bring our pets! There is a pet deposit that is not mentioned in listing so be aware of that. Overall enjoyed our stay. "

"Great property, quiet neiguborhood. Large house with a good layout for cooking and family time. Plenty of amenities. Lots of outdoor space, including the lake! Great communication from owner. Recommended property!"

"Our families 6th time back at Pelican Point so that pretty much sums it up. We visited another property last year, just for something different and everyone in our group said they wanted to go back. When we got there this time my son said “the place last year was fun, but this place is fun and it feels like home! We love it so much!"

"Perfect set up. The bunk rooms are in the attached “boathouse”. Boys loved having “their own house”. Fire pit is on a cement patio, which was very nice. Gas grill was great. Huge back porch, two docks to fish and overall very nice house in a great neighborhood only 5 min from the grocery store. Loft stairs are steep so watch your step. Huge grassy area to play and very friendly people in the community. "

"We had a great time here! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for the weekend. Easy lake access just a couple of minutes away was a bonus. The house itself was comfy, with plenty of space to hang out, cook meals, and relax.The host was friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. We’d come again. bacagain!"

"Perfect for two but will accommodate four. Super nice little cottage equipped with everything you need right down to the salt and pepper. Communication with the host was timely and pleasant and the property was even nicer than the pictures indicate! Full kitchen,two A/C units and an awesome view of the lake. Caught some fish right off the dock. Two TV's in the main cottage and one in the detached room, also with a washer and dryer.My wife and I plan to come back here soon! Book it. You won't be...

"We were in town for a funeral so this was a great place to gather family and be able to spend time together. The beds were so incredibly comfortable when we retired for the evening. During the rest of the time, the living area is all about togetherness! We appreciated the ability to all be able to sit around the dinner table and reminisce and celebrate our loved one’s life! We also loved the backyard and appreciated the beautiful view from the pool and hot tub."

"This is a nice place for large groups or families. With 6 bedrooms, there was ample space for everyone in our large group to have their own space. The house is tucked away and was a slight challenge to find, but once we found it, there were no issues. The views of the lake are amazing as well."

"The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Brand new boat dock. Very well maintained. We had a great weekend. "

"I cannot say enough about this property. Our stay was VERY restful. Both of the bedrooms beds were so comfortable and the decor set such a serene atmosphere that was so restful! The location is great: close to supermarkets, but secluded and away from day to day noise. My husband and I will definitely stay here again and recommend this property to everyone who has a busy life with the need for the occasional (or frequent) R&R! "

"The house was beautiful in a quiet location. The only thing is read closely and don’t sssume an error in the description. While “technically” there are 2 bathrooms, it’s a little different. There is a half bath that connects to Master & hallway and it contains the only toilet. There is another bathroom in the master but it only has a shower, vanity and sink. So the entire house only has 1 toilet and 1 shower. You’ll have to go into the master bedroom to get to the shower. Also the “4th” bedroom...
