"We stayed in the Basic Cabin with 1 queen, 2 twin beds. It was quaint, small, clean, old rustic and appeared to have had some renovations. The queen bed was soft and comfy. The twin bed mattresses were thin and harder. Couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work, and the gas wood stove wasn’t needed on a hot night. All the cooling came from a small window A/C unit. Kitchenette was pretty stocked. Bathroom was quite small and there wasn’t a toilet paper rod. The exposed pipes behind the shower were...

"The apartment was larger than a motel room. The kitchen was well equipped. The unit was very clean and conveniently located. The queen bed mattress was okay for my wife but too soft for me. The futons would work for small children but not for adults."

"You have the pond and house to yourself, hidden away from the road; it's great escape from everything. Bring a telescope or binoculars, it gets legitimately dark and the stars are wonderful."

"We (wife and two boys 9yo) have been coming to Cranmore for the last three years but have never stayed in the Fairbanks lodge. The property was beautiful, BJ (owner/manager) was super responsive…even going out of his way to get us in well ahead of check-in time. All in all it was a great experience. Look forward to booking again. "

"We were looking to be in a specific area close by a friend's home. The unit was clean, well appointed and the perfect layout for our group. Check in was simple. "

"Great house - perfect location! We enjoyed being able to take a short walk to the beach - and morning coffee on the dock by the canal in the backyard. Watching the fish in the water and catching a few resident ducks with babies swim by. By mid afternoon the backyard is in the shade and we enjoyed a few drinks/dinner and music on the deck. Short walk to the Pickleball/tennis courts was great to get a few games in. We will be back next year!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Eidelweiss. The house was perfect for me and my adult son. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the grill because it was very dirty and rusty looking. But the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. It is a very quiet area. And close to little pea porridge pond which is so nice to swim in."

"This was our second time staying here in the summer. We stayed with a large family group. Brian’s house is amazing and he is very easy to communicate with. Everyone had a wonderful time. the kids were fishing, kayaking, and swimming every day all day long!"

"Great location and very peaceful setting by the river. Loved the back deck and sound of the river. "

"Incredible location, close to Storyland, downtown North Conway, Echo Lake, and down the street from Cranmore. The backyard/grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, and we loved using the hot tub and fire pit and looking out at the mountain views. There is a lot of space and the house seemed sound proof, which was nice since we were with family and kids ranged from age 2-10! The library was so cozy. The beds could use an upgrade, but otherwise everything was perfect! "
