As the hotel got busier through the week they did stop giving us bathrobes and water in the room, which was disappointing for such a steep price point. Additionally, the opened up the pool to the public during our stay which disrupted the serenity of the whole bit. "

"The location was a plus for us and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, there were several stains on the floor and a cup under the bed. We didn’t feel that the hotel met our standards for cleanliness. The microwave didn’t work which was a major disappointment for kids and there were lines on the TV which made the playoff games hard to watch. Overall, average stay for us at the Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District."

"This hotel is in a great spot right next to the river in historic Savannah which I’m assuming is what justifies the price of the rooms, which are seriously average. Walking in to the room, it has the feel of a very cheap hotel with harsh spotlights and cheap tiles. The bathrooms need upgrading desperately and the room felt dark and cramped. There was a bottle of wine plus two bottles of water on arrival. I’d have gladly opened the wine, but there was no corkscrew in the room! The whole trip felt...
