Gorgeous studio in excellent, convenient location - between city and airport and close to eastern suburbs amenities. Wellington city about 30-40 minute walk and great bus service. Hataitai beach just around corner and super close to Kilbirnie park and aquatic centre.

Ideally sleeps 2 - but can sleep up to 3 with king single sofa bed.
Gloriously comfortable queen bed with 100% cotton sheets - flannelette in winter and electric blanket.

Self contained space with cool lounge - Panasonic smart TV with Freeview, tea, coffee & hot chocolate, induction hob, microwave, toaster, jug and cooking utensils, bar fridge, kitchenette, bathroom, washer/dryer and hot shower with great pressure. Unlimited wifi. Parking is on the street outside.

Shopping was close by. Either a 10 minute walk or a very short bus ride. There was both a Wolworth store or a Pack and save to choose from. There was also a vegetable store in kilberne. A quick bus ride also to the city center

Lovely base for a Wellington weekend. Clean, attractive decor, spacious, and private. Great host communication too. Would definitely return. (Only downside was the automatic garage door below the unit which woke us each time it was elevated early morning.)

Very homely and cosy with fully equiped kitchen. Very handy to bus to the city. Steep stairs to entrance might be challenging if you have balancing or back problem. Parking on the road. Loved our stay and will definitely book again.

Great wee studio unit, close to aquatic centre and bus route to town. Only downside was getting woken up by the auto garage door below at 5am in the mornings and a random 1am too.

Really great property but Steep Steps. First. Shelly is the greatest. Qik coms and super service. The accommodation itself is beautiful, warm and comfortable., The queen or king size bed is super comfy, heaps of blankets and super clean. The heat pump keeps the place warm, and the kitchenette is well stocked with plates, cook ware and induction cooker etc. The shower is powerful and hot as. The toilet is a snug fit. Beware. Like other users have said. 1. You need to be fit enough to walk up about 15 steep steps. Going up is easy. Going down just take it easy unless you are young and sprightly.

Ideal location

Lovely spacious, light-filled studio room with views across the street and to trees beyond. Good size kitchenette and we appreciated the milk and tea bags. We also appreciated the early check-in. The weak point of this place is the bathroom handbasin. It is tiny and there is no vanity bench.Also can I suggest some new coat hangers? You'll see from the listed photos that the outside steps are steep, which is not necessarily a problem but there are two things to look out for. Firstly, the depth of the tread. It is very narrow so you have to walk sideways otherwise you'll tear the leather off the back of your shoes. Secondly, there is no handrail. That said, the room has a great heat pump so it's lovely and warm. The bed is super comfortable with good linen and there are plenty of fluffy towels. It's conveniently located close enough to the airport and the city centre - both an easy Uber ride away. The Hataitai village shops are within easy walking distance.Shelley was good to deal with and she responded quickly to my questions.We would definitely consider staying here again.

Adorable studio in a great location

The studio was very clean, had all that I needed for my stay. The location is within a short walk to the bus stop and to shops and restaurants. I will definitely be back.

I stayed for 16 days while visiting family. The Studio is well lit (lots of windows) with great view. Very spacious and has everything I needed. Shelley provided fresh bed linen for my longer stay. Bus stop at the end of street for city centre, Kilbirnie shops and airport. The Hataitai shops are less than 10 min walk for cafes, supermarket and eateries. Loved my stay and I will definitely book again when I return.

Great stay

Shelley’s place was wonderful for our 5 week stay! Had everything we needed. Was close to a bus stop and there were restaurants a few minute walk away. Shelley was responsive and helpful when we needed anything.

Perfectly Appointed!

Great wee studio - 3 of us and couchbed was very comfy my daughter said. We loved the attention to detail with furnishings and supplies in bathroom and kitchen - especially decent Coffee & Tea! The jug of fresh milk in the fridge was also a nice touch. We'll be back!
