"We love the charm & convenience of this hotel. The rooftop bar is always great. My one comment is the lobby of the main hotel. The gallery they have created is not warm & inviting. Too bright with no comforting seating. Feels like an art gallery instead of a lobby. Not warm & inviting. "

"this is absolutely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. it is apparent that the staff cares about this place. the parking lot and building front were clean. the lobby was welcoming and the staff was top-notch. this is now our go-to place when visiting the grand children in Charleston SC"

"Parking was tight under the property but there was more across the street. Great for the price. "

"The Emeline Hotel is very unique. We got upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was a wonderful surprise. They have a great coffee place inside and a small shopping area - big bar and sitting area outside. There sister hotel is the Ryder - so they give you drink tokens and you can get a free drink and sit near the pool if you wish. They did not charge us for valet parking -- which was super cool something to do with our status but yet The Ryder Hotel DID CHARGE 55.-- for parking plus resort...

"We stayed for two days. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Room was very big & clean and nicely arranged. Hot Breakfast was mediocre. Laundromat in the facility was convenient. Only Bathroom shower corners & outside the shower had mildew. Housekeeping was good too. "

"We stayed four nights at Meeting Street Inn. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. Be aware that it’s an old building and it’s an inn, not a hotel. You will not find a lot of amenities here. But you get a quiet stay, in a charming, historic Charleston Single-style building at a reasonable price. "Beautiful setting. We were the only ones we saw walking around the property in the early evenings. The Happy Hour self-serve charcuterie and cash bar on the property were very convenient and we enjoyed sitting along the river in the provided seating both njghts. "We had a very clean room with a really comfortable bed. Excellent restaurant on top floor, with wonderful water views. Staff was very helpful and we loved the shuttle into downtown. Would definitely stay here again."
