" This place is a rare gem & a treasure. The lodge was very much like the photos with many rooms that accommodated our large family who enjoyed it immensely. I would highly recommend this amazing lodge for those who love novelty, natural beauty and excellent accommodations. The house manager Katie was exceptional and went above and beyond our needs.We are talking about returning for future family events. Loved it."

"Our family had the best time at Don’s lake house. The grounds are amazing with lakefront access. The fire pit and gazebo were big hits. Don was super communicative and answered any questions we had. There was plenty of room for our whole family and we can’t to return. "

"The house was just as described on the listing. Very clean, beautifully situated right on the lake and stocked with everything you could need. Don was very easy to communicate with and had great suggestions regarding what to see in the area. Sunsets were beautiful and directly in front of the house as if they were choreographed! "I spend the weekend with my mom, daughter and aunt. The house was very clean & comfortable. The host was very friendly and welcoming. He left us eggs, zucchini and samples of honey and syrup. Location was close to many activities. I would stay here again."

"This property was just what we needed for our trip. It was secluded and so quiet. Our family enjoyed the decor and cozy feel! It was close to bethel wood where we attended a concert. Our puppy enjoyed her stay as well. She felt right at home! Host was easy to contact and down to earth. Will definitely stay here in the future! Thanks for the beautiful stay for our final summer family get away. "

"The apartment is beautiful with the most attention to detail. We walked each night to the water/restaurants in Newburgh. Communication was quick and timely. We would love to stay here again. The area can get loud at times but we didn't feel unsafe."

"Unfortunately we had a very short stay, but beautiful area, house was nice, comfortable furnishings, the bed’s head raised, which was wonderful and a nice surprise, and loved the colorful rug. We would return to this adorable, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, rustic place. "
