"Relaxing way to spend a weekend. Condo is directly on the Mississippi River. We were there to check out the eagles. Saw many right outside our door. We were in walking distance to restaurants, small shops and the National Eagle Center. Condo was very comfortable. Enjoyed the many upgrades. Owner did a nice job communicating. The checkin process was seamless. "

"We loved our stay. Wish we could stay longer to enjoy the relaxing looking bath facilities! E couldn’t figure the TV out so we played cards and had so much fun. I could have easily called Allie and asked about the tv , but we decided not to. The beds were extra comfortable. The bedding was soft and cozy. Thank you so much! "

"This was the perfect little oasis in town to get away with my daughters! We loved the eclectic Bohemian style and the clawfoot tub definitely a highlight! We visited the Laura ingalls Wilder museum and cabin unenjoyed exploring the beautiful pond and willow trees across the way. We enjoyed breakfasts on the back patio. With all the greenery around us, we felt like we were the woods. It was very quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend."

"When I first saw the place, my heart sank. Dirty and grungy and full of webs and bugs on the outside. But the interior was quite nice. I only noticed 2 minor things -- mop board below the toilet paper was dirty, and the vent fan needs to be cleaned. We had a good stay. Hot tub is perfectly functional. Easy walking distance to National Eagle Center, river walking paths, restaurants/bars. "

"Wonderful property. Beautiful views of Lake Pepin. Plenty of room for all 9 of us. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, lovely outdoor space. We had a great time. Thank you so much. "

"My granddaughter and I stayed one night recently when we came to see Laura Ignalls birthplace. The tiny Alden house was perfect for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable and what I always like it had a ceiling fan.Chuck,Elan, Oscar and the chickens were great hosts. Chuck and Elan were very kind in leaving a gift for my granddaughter. Thank you for our nice stay at your tiny house ."

"The cabin was everything we needed for the weekend. Nicely stocked with useful things and great for morning coffee on the deck or watching TV on a rainy afternoon. Will consider renting again."

"Loved it. We love Frontenac and the surrounding area. You can hike to the state park from the cabin (3.5 miles to point no point) We Kayaked, Hiked and even did a winery tour at Villa Bellezza in Pepin. Our Host was conscientious and helpful. On our first night we blew a fuse and the refrigerator was out, Randy came over at 7:30 the next morning with a bag of ice (in case he couldn't mend the fridge) and even some of his homemade maple syrup. He was able to get the fridge running and we...

"Our stay was excellent! Our group consisted of 3 couples. The cottage was beautiful & the view was STUNNING! Yes-there are trains, & they are close- so you will hear them. Three of us grew up in a rail town- so we knew what to expect. Noise machines & ear plugs provided- how thoughtful. Three in our group rode in the Tour de Pepin bicycle ride, while the other three enjoyed the Fresh Art Spring Tour. Loads of fun for all. "
