"The staff spoke great English and were exceptionally helpful and patient with all of our questions and requests. The building is older and lacks air conditioning (very few places in the area seem to have it) but it is very clean. The older style wood finishings and stained glass windows are very charming. The coin laundry room in the basement was also very helpful. Overall this hotel seems to fit the vibe of the area perfectly. My partner and I would stay here again without hesitation!...

"The property was in a great location to walk around the historic area, and only an 15 min walk from the main train station. The staff were so helpful. The room was well designed, considering it was on the smaller side and the bed was very comfortable. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast options, and warm service. As folks from the US, we are newer to the type of shower with a handheld sprayer, and loved the AC option, but wished it would stay on continuously through the night....

"The guy who checked me in ( I’m sorry I don’t remember his name ) was so courteous and kind. He also helped me later on when I needed a kettle. I was travelling solo so this sort of care an attention was gratefully received. My room was cleaned every day. Unfortunately some mosquitos must have got in and used ti bother me every night. "Wir hatten eine Junior Suite gebucht. Das ist ein Appartment über 2 Stockwerke. Um 5 Uhr morgens war es im Schlafzimmer Tag so hell und wir konnten nicht mehr schlafen. Es gab im 2 Stock ein Rollo das aber nicht funktionierte. Ich dachte mir nur noch ein Teil das nicht funktioniert. Beim Checkout wurde mir gesagt das es im 1 Stock eine Schalter gibt um das Roll im 2 Stock mit Strom zu versorgen. Ich hätte am Vorabend fragen sollen wie man das Rollo einschaltet. "Loved this hotel and would stay again. Superb breakfast and views. Located in the old town a 2 stop bus ride from the train station. All amenities worked well room with lovely terrace. Restaurants, golden roof and imperial palace only 5 minute walk away."
