"I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time."

"This location was close to a bus stop and gas station. It is also in the same building as the bus repair shops. Throughout the buildings interior and and exterior you can smell the pollution. There is a lack of visibility of the staff onsite, in my 3 night stay I only saw front lady staff once. They only keep the front desk opened within certain hours, but even then when I went down to speak with someone, there was no one to be found. "Everything we needed was in the room: fridge, bottled water, coffee machine, shower gel, box of tissues. We were very well looked after by all staff. An added bonus was that the hotel is in a quiet area, 20-minutes away from central Lucerne by bus, with a bus stop right outside the hotel, buses every 30 minutes and free with the visitor bus pass. Would definitely stay here whenever we're in Lucerne again."
