"The ad is correct, it is quiet and serene. Located conveniently near Muir Woods, Golden Gate, Bridge, and downtown San Francisco. Quiet evenings outside on the back deck are very nice, lots of wildlife, a local grey longhair cat, and a family of deer visit every night and meander through unalarmec only 20 feet away. Very cool. "

" Nothing fancy, but it did the job. There were a few bugs (nothing crazy) and the walls were very thin, but the room was basically clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and I got to check in early at no extra charge. The price is great though: would recommend for the mid-picky traveler who wants to avoid the SF hostels. "

"Overall a great place to stay. It was very clean and the bad was very comfortable. Having a private bathroom is a luxury. My only dislike was the paper thin door which didn't block out any sounds in or out. "

"Cool & quirky place the size of a warehouse! Tons of baseball memorabilia and history. Dave’s a really cool dude! Highly recommend staying and something that’s completely different for a change."

"Stayed one night. Great stay. Only two issues: the detergent used for the sheets had a very strong and not pleasant odor. The house was very cold in the morning. Figured out the heater but info should have been in the welcome book. "

"Comfy to hang out indoors and outdoors. Easy to cook and eat there. Comfy beds and lots of bathroom amenities. Loved the battery candles and tea when we arrived. The heater was difficult to start and could not start the last two days. Otherwise we would recommend and stay there again! Thank you!"

"The walls were paper thin, I could hear people speaking in the next room. Very noisy. No TV service on regular channels - you had to have had a streaming service account. At check out, you had to take your own garbage/ recycling outside to the bins in the backyard."

"We loved our stay in Howard’s apartment. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring in all directions—Richmond with all its great restaurants, Golden Gate Park and the de Young museum, the Presidio etc. Nearby Geary street gives you a. Straight shot downtown on the bus. Howard was very helpful and communicative and we particularly appreciated his letting us leave our luggage for a late pick up on our last day. It was a delightful stay. "

"This property is so cute, and the proximity to the beach is wonderful! We found everything we needed to cook meals, and the space heater warmed the cottage very quickly. It is small, but the backyard space made it feel larger. We enjoyed our stay!"

"I stayed here for a week to visit my brother. It was perfect walking distance and i did a lot more walking in San Francisco than i do at home! I wasn't at the hotel much during the day but it was quiet at night and i slept good! I had a small fan because I'm hot natured and that helped. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again. Thank you!"
