"Salty's Place" a gorgeous contemporary home located in Caloundra on Canberra Terrace, boasting elevated views over the Glasshouse Mountains and the Pumicestone Passage.

Bring the family and the dog along to this near-new holiday home located within close walking distance to Kings and Bulcock Beach, as well as the Main Street of town, Bulcock Street. There is plenty to see and do close by.

Happy Valley (the area between Kings and Bulcock Beach) is also just a stroll away, a popular swimming spot. It is also popular with Surfers and Paddle boarders. The beautifully maintained parklands are also great for families with kids as there are free BBQ's and a children’s playground.

There are plenty of shops to browse in the main street, or why not catch a film at the local cinema, both are only 300 metres away.

Enjoy all that Caloundra has to offer in this spacious, family friendly home.

Pet-friendly and fully fenced. Small dogs are allowed inside, *not allowed on the furniture please. No big dogs inside please. If you have a big dog, please be aware that the gate on the left hand side of the yard is lower so it may not be suitable. You would be booking the property with this knowledge.

Alternately if you would like to hire the linen, we can arrange this for you. The cost for linen hire for all beds in this property would be $183 p.w or $51 p.w. for just the main bed (subject to an annual price review by the linen hire company).

16 Canberra Tce was a clean, well appointed, two storey house close to Bullock St and Kings Beach - great for a family who loves the beach and op shopping like us. With the master bedroom upstairs and the other three bedrooms downstairs the house was well designed for privacy and families with children. Both toilets were in the bathrooms - so this was not great for a large group. There was no outdoor setting in the sloping back garden which would have been an extra bonus for more getaways. Wedged between two blocks of units this property was very close to lots of people you could hear.

Great property and location central to beaches and CBD. Easy to leave the car and walk everywhere. Within 5 mins there is access to eateries, shopping and beaches. Property was also pet friendly which is ideal when bringing the furry members of the family.

This was the perfect holiday house for a family getaway. The house has everything we needed and more. Did not have to use cars the whole trip as the beach and shops were walking distance.

Good place for the very fit; let down by noisy neighbours

This is a good place but location is not great if you like to leave the car behind and walk to the beach with young children and beach gear/bikes/scooters. Yes, it is close to the beach but the walk is not for the faint of heart, elderly or those with young children/babies due to the steep inclines. We ended up driving the short distance to the beach, which was a shame. Property itself was extremely clean, well appointed and comfy. Unfortunately, our neighbours were not considerate, with noise well past midnight most nights.

Beautiful mountain sunsets.

This property was a lovely home, nice furniture & clean. Well equipped in the kitchen. Could do with fans in downstairs bedrooms. Back yard was lovely but difficult to access. The rental agents were all friendly , lovely & helpful .

Lovely House but Very Hot

While the property itself was love and clean it is not well ventilated. With no air con and small windows it was extremely hot during the day and we struggled to sleep at night. This house would be nicer if it was air con or in winter. Dealing with Caloundra Holiday Centre was difficult. The security deposit took over a week to be returned to my account. When asking about other dog friendly properties, the staff member yelled at me that Saltys is not dog friendly and she doesn’t know how I was allowed to have my dog there, even though I informed them I have a small dog (Shih Tzu) when originally enquiring about the property.
