Peaceful Retreat

We arrived from a long weekend visiting NYC, so this place was the perfect recovery cabin for us The sweet treat and fresh local coffee was an added bonus—thank you. As for comfort, the bed was wonderful. The shower had great pressure and every little detail was thought of, from where to find the remotes for the TV and Bedroom fan, to the little shelves in the bathroom to put our things. We only wishedIt wasn’t in the middle of a record breaking heat wave, so the cute back patio could have been enjoyed more. We were very grateful for the cold A/C unit.The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and baking.The high school across the street has a track we enjoyed walking around at sunset. Lots of great restaurants and an apple cider nearby that made our time memorable. After three nights I wasn’t ready to leave. It felt like home.We loved Artisan Coffee, Ben & Jerry’s, Cold Hollow Cider Mill and The Backyard.

Fantastic Space for A Getaway

We spent three nights at this perfectly cozy little cottage barn! It had everything we needed for the two of us, but we both agreed the pullout bed in the loft would have been great for the kids. Everything was clean and comfy, and the host left great notes for places to visit or eat and drink. The location was even better, because you were close enough to everything but away enough to feel quiet relaxation! Would love to see a fire pit option for the outdoor seating area (especially to enjoy a cold beverage next to)!!

First family vacation

My husband and I have a 3 month old and this was our first family trip. First time parents, first vacation, a bit nervous (mostly me! (mom)). Justina could not have been more accommodating, she offered a stroller when I told her my baby would be with us, and she extended the check out time without us asking because she knows how hard it can be with newborns and their schedule. Not only that, the place is perfect, everything is brand new with plenty of space. The bed is very comfortable and the shower gets super hot which I love! The house is in a perfect location, close to the mountain and close to the restaurants, and the view from the backyard is so peaceful. Just book it, trust me.

Beautiful cozy house

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful, cozy home. We came for a 3 day ski trip. It was a perfect location 10 min from Stowe skiing and close to restaurants. Decorated beautifully and loved the exposed wood and iron accents.

Perfect place to stay

This restored barn was perfectly redone by the owners! The perfect little getaway for a couple in Stowe, conveniently located just off the mountain road yet close enough to everything. Could not recommend staying here anymore

We come to Stowe at least once a year. This is the best stay yet. They have such an attention to detail, the place is clean and meticulous. I almost hate leaving such a great review because selfishly I’d love to keep this hidden gem a secret. 11/10 stars and will most certainly be booking again.

Don’t think twice - Book it!!

There’s not enough room to list all of the great things we could say about our stay at The Barn. It lived up to every expectation we had and more. The cabin is beautifully renovated down to every last detail and exceptionally clean/cozy. You could not ask for a better location to visit Stowe. Every destination is a short and simple drive. The hosts are kind and dependable. We will surely be back for another stay. This is the type of property VRBO was made for and we are so grateful to have found it. Thanks Justina and Bill! The love and effort you put into The Barn was a highlight of our trip.

Amazing and Cute

This was the best Vrbo I've stayed at yet. The property was incredible. You can tell the owners put a lot of work into each detail. The cookware and appliances are all very new and clean, they provided hotel style shampoos and soaps, it has a washer and drier, everything is clean, and it just has this amazing feel to it. It's such a cute place. Plus the owners were very responsive. We had an issue with the pillows and they went out and bought more for us. We really appreciate their responsiveness. The location is great too. There's a lot of ski resorts nearby and really good restaurants within a few minutes drive. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here and we look forward to our next visit.

Amazing Restoration in Stowe

The Barn is an impressive restoration. The space was clean and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The location is nice as well, just a short drive to downtown Stowe.
