"Loved the location of the cottages. So nice to sit on the couch and see a 180 view of the serene grounds. If there is more than 2 people, I would recommend getting 2 cabins. The bathroom is so petite and the upstairs small with steep stairs, I could not imagine more than 2 people in these cabins. That said though, they are really a fun place to stay. "

"My wife and I had an excellent one night stay at Skalakot Manor Hotel as part of our 12 day tour of Iceland. The hotel was great, our room was really nice and the spa was fantastic! Staff and breakfast were great too. We did a one hour horse riding tour on the morning we check out which was delightful - would highly recommend it! Daria was our guide and she was great! "

"This property was our favorite by far! It was an absolutely beautiful setting and the family that owns it were very gracious and welcoming. There were even freshly baked cakes for us to enjoy. The room was perfect with hidden surprises like some mice sleeping in a cigar box in the bedside table. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. We loved the hot tub and the stroll around the property.
