Serenity Now, a beautifully custom-built St. George Island home, is an ideal choice for an unforgettable beach vacation. Recently renovated, the home now features new additions, such as new exterior siding, brand new windows and interior flooring, as well as freshly painted walls and new interior decor and complimentary fixtures!

While the list of delightful amenities is abundant, the loveliest features are the two levels of covered decks with views of the Gulf overlooking the private pool. Generously appointed with many thoughtful comforts, you can spend time relaxing with a good book or having spirited fun playing games and putting puzzles together. The furnishings are cozy with plenty of seating around the large flatscreen TV and the open concept kitchen/dining area/living room will make it feel like home.

What's nearby:
This home is conveniently located close to everything, including the white sandy beaches and the island bicycle path right across the street. Be sure to head over to St. George Island Lighthouse or grab a bite of fresh seafood from one of the local restaurants just over a mile away!

Safety Concern with 3 rd floor staiway barrier

My main concern was that a small child became climb over the couch in the third floor den and fall into the main starwell. It almost happened to my grandson! In addition we had an issue with the kitchen garbage disposal not constantly working. Several lightbulbs in the bathrooms and stairs well were burnt out. There are no keys but you must constantly use a 10 digit pin to lock and unlock the main door

Kitchen supplies could use an update and cull. Too many glasses and dishware, (2wine glasses)there is no place to pantry your things. Toilets need to be replaced with comfort ht. Stair rails are one visit away from pulling off the wall. This above is not to say we did not enjoy the home, we did. Just want folks to be know conditions.

Beautiful Home

Half of our week we had rain, so we were very appreciative to have this beautiful home and swimming pool. The covered double decks were a great place to view the Gulf and sunrise and sunset, and they overlooked the pool. The pool was nice size and professionally cleaned. The home was well stocked including hand soap, bar soap, trash bags, dishwasher soap and linens. Plenty of kitchen pans and dishes. When we arrived, the code we had did not open the door. We called Vacasa and the issue was resolved.

Great Family Vacation!

We were very comfortable in this home that provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay on St. George Island. The house is open and sunny and welcoming. It was convenient to everything on the island. The walk to the beach was easy, the walking/biking path convenient-we rented bikes and a paddle board and had fun exploring land and sea. We found the people living or vacationing on the island among the most friendly that we have experienced on vacation. We definitely would love to return some day!

4 days at "Serenity now"

We had a great time, I called for help with the remote that was marked wrong, but I figured it out. They never came or called, so it was a good thing I did. Don't like to complain but was sand on the floor and the fans haven't been cleaned in months. A few roaches that my wife didn't like, other than this, all was good. We liked the house, roomy and spacious, but not good for a guy who has had a stroke (the stairs were killer). WE love the island and will come back; this is our 16th time in 20 years. No family next time.

The house is better than the listing

Do yourself a favor and book this house now. The listing doesn't do it justice! You are about 3 minutes away from the beach. It was never crowded. The pool was great and what my kids loved most about the vacation. The house was clean. The beds were VERY comfortable! We want to go back, so hopefully this place doesn't get as popular as it should be!

We were only here 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. The house was great, and it was perfect beach weather. The pool was clean, only 1 thing, we had a code but there was not a combi lock on the pool gate, not a problem but just so you know!

Has everything you need.

This property was a great stay for us. Rooms were clean, everything worked, and the pool was a nice perk. The walk to the beach is pretty short, so no worries there. You can also see the beach from the upper balcony, so it was a great place to hang out at night and watch distant storms over the waves.

Dirty, Poor Customer Service, No Pool Heater as Stated

The location was great, but that was just about the only positive we have. Upon notifying of the condition of the home, they did try to send someone out, but not without calling first as requested. We were at the beach and unable to let them inside at the time. The house was filthy: -dirty dish drying mat -dead bird and food on porch -sticky, dirty floors -empty water bottles and spilled soda stains in bedroom -used tissues stuffed in a lamp We were also told we could heat the pool if requested within 24 hours. After 36 hours of trying to get an answer from Vacasa, and waiting on hold for 20+ minutes each time, we were told they no longer heated the pool. We wouldn’t have chosen this home this time of year without a heated pool. We have stayed at multiple homes and this by far was the worst experience. We wouldn’t recommend it.

Great family home | very comfortably kitted out | Loved our stay!

Great location a short walk from the beautiful beach. The living accommodation is on the top floor and a very comfortable open plan layout. Excellent pots, pans, dishes and glasses provided - if you like cooking, this is a great kitchen to do so (although no herbs, salt, pepper or oil are provided - we managed a full turkey and trimmings), with a large dining room table with 8 chairs (but enough room for 10). The deck on the same level is great for cooling off in the evening and again, has very comfortable furniture. The bedrooms are on the first level and all have comfortable beds - everyone slept extremely well. Overall, as a family of six, we all felt very well rested at the end of our week-long stay. Highly recommended. (Only comment for dog owners, is that there is no outside stairway - which means a thorough wash (hose provided) and towel dry is needed before taking them up the inside stairway and putting them out on the deck to dry off. Apart from that, it is great for furry friends.)
