"very cozy place with a VERY comfortable bed. Wonderful made to order breakfast included. Free parking. Less expensive than staying in Newport and very worth it. So easy to drive to Newport, find parking, and walk everywhere. Staff friendly and helpful. Try Reject beer Co. if you like beer and a good vibe. Would return!"

Please note that while Room 2 is advertised as sleeping 3 with king and sofa bed, the sofa bed in place as of the writing of this review was unsuitable and unacceptable for sleeping. If you are counting on this bed, you should consider other accommodations. "

"Quite honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect but this exceeded my expectation. Room was clean and spacious. I was worried about road noise but that didn’t become an issue. Some issues with the TV- like every channel we watched for 5 minutes then blocked out saying we didn’t pay for the channel. Maybe a guide telling you what channels were available would help. The hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable "

"First time staying at The Attwater and it won't be our last! Such a cute boutique hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Newport but conveniently located so it's walkable to downtown! The manager, Peter, was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our weekend stay. And the included breakfast had amazing homemade offerings. Another bonus of The Attwater was free parking. Highly recommend!"
