"This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again "

"We had a nice stay while doing the Borders Abbeys Way, beds were comfortable, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options and we also had dinner in the restaurant. The bar was a meeting place for locals which gave it a nice community atmosphere."

Very central location on thriving high st with a great range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Many walks from this location too. We will use again for sure."

"Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator.
