"The owner was very responsive and personable. It had snowed, and he made sure the driveway was plowed. The house had all the amenities as listed, and made for an excellent week in West Virginia. "

"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. "Loved the seculed property with the creek next to it, the kids and dogs really loved being able to run around! Hot tub was awsome to hang out in at nite while listening to the creek, and the deck is amazing to hang out on during a rainstorm! Will be back!!"

"This was by far the best airbnb we've stayed at. Very accommodating and clean. Jim was very quick to answer any questions we had.We were a group of 6. 4 adults, 2 kids & 2 dogs. There was plenty of space for all of us. Dont forget to check out the little waterfall on the property. Its not a far hike at all. "Austin was a fantastic host - responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The videos of the property were super helpful and accurately reflected the space. Our group absolutely loved this unit - it was perfect for our weekend getaway to the 4848 Festival. By far, this has been our favorite place to stay at Snowshoe. Highly recommend!"

"Check in was a breeze, host is quick to respond. The unit was very comfortable, well equipped, SUPER CLEAN, great options of lighting in living room and bedroom, . Bed was extremely comfortable for my taste, plenty of towels and blankets/pillows. This was a fantastic choice for my needs, the fire place was a nice extra touch that I definitely enjoyed. "

"We vacationed with our children and their families. The house was very clean and met all of our needs. You need to bring most of your food, as the only grocery is a small IGA market and a Dollar General. The local gift shop was awesome offering a coffee bar and baked goods along with souvenirs. "Had a great family weekend! Property was as advertised, check in was seamless and great communication with the property manager. The cabin had a well equipped kitchen for cooking meals. The view off the deck overlooking the mountain was priceless. Would love to stay again!"

"Loved where it was located … could walk to restaurants coffee shops etc , also was very convenient that we only had to pack our clothes and buy some groceries everything else was provided !!! Great stay will definitely rent again for our next visit !!!! "

"Three families with teens and tweens had a wonderful time this weekend. We were steps from the slopes and had everything for a comfortable and fun weekend. The three teen boys loved the bunk/gameroom. The hot tub was a great place to warm up after skiing. We will absolutely be back."

"The house, furniture and appliances were in great condition. All beds were very comfortable. Plenty of good firewood to burn. Beautiful view across the mountains from the spacious hot tub. Plenty of room for our two families of four. The free shuttle would pick us up at the bottom of the driveway within minutes of calling them. The host was so easy to communicate with, helpful and very nice. Definitely staying here from now on."

"Such a sweet small town and this rental is a great location because it’s just a few blocks from restaurants, the river, and the rail trail but far enough that there isn’t much traffic! The home is fully stocked with everything you need (they seriously thought of everything!) The host was super easy to chat with about local suggestions and questions about our planning before arriving! The house doesn’t have AC but fans are provided for each room which was helpful! We even brought a couple more...

"Everything was great"

"The cabin is amazing! Had a fire going the whole weekend and went in the hot tub every night. Only problem was parking can be sketchy. The driveway is steep/angled and was fully iced over during our stay. Still totally worth it."
