"This is a budget motel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room had the usual budget motel musty smell. The shower stall is small. But on the positive side, the room had a couch, a dining table, and the table settings needed to have breakfast in the room. The heater worked well, as did the available blankets."

"Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel."

"Lovely stay with an interesting history. I didn’t realize it used to be a nunnery in the 1950s and that it miraculously survived bushfires. The property is beautiful and conveniently located near great cafes and restaurants. Also there’s the neighbours cat (Milo) who visits and is incredibly friendly and adorable.
After we checked out, I accidentally left my bag (with some expensive chocolates inside), but fortunately housekeeping found it and returned it to me when I came back. I am so...

"What a beautiful place to stay! Our room was comfortable (a little warm and no AC) and the staff was very helpful. We got great recommendations for dining and sightseeing from them. I highly recommend visiting the Katoomba area and Kurrara Guest House is a perfect place to stay. Good breakfast and very charming!"
