"The room and facilities were good though the bathroom has a window grill open to outside so was freezing cold at night, to cold to stay in for a shower etc. We ate at the restaurant, the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked but and they didn't deliver to the table any of the sides we had ordered so we had steaks, no potatos, no veggies, and some how we were charged $29 for what we are pretty sure was a $17 glass of wine. "The decor was ye olde memories of yesteryear. Also music. I’m fond of traditional but found it to be tacky and a bit gloomy. The room was tiny and the bathroom cramped. Pleasant to sit in the lounge in front of the fire. We found the restaurant dinner overpriced and the food mediocre. Dishes were different for the sake of being different without regard for taste. Service and wine good. Breakfast ordinary. I was offered scrambled eggs with roast tomato. Don’t understand how other...
