"This was an excellent stay! I found it after a previous hotel overbooked itself and canceled on me the same day as my reservation. Booking the reservation with Nona was straightforward, as was paying the tourist tax online, which was a relief when I was already so frazzled. The instructions for check in/check out came in promptly and were very clear. The apartment was clean and cute with a spaceous balcony. I also appreciated having a small stove, microwave oven, minifridge and dishwasher...

"Suzanna and Antonio are wonderful hosts and the guest house is beautiful and comfortable. The man that was on staff ( I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) was always available and took great care of our room as well as creating a delicious breakfast buffet. They all made you feel like family! I would absolutely recommend staying here "

"The Baumhaus appartment was fantastic. The elegant entrance hallway leads you to the airy garden with the amazing tree. Our room, Emmerico, was on the top floor and had a fabulous balcony overlooking the garden and the city. The room was airy, well lit, plenty of space and very clean with a comfortable bed and seating. The little kitchen was perfect for a city break. We had a late check in, after normal working hours, and the instructions with pictures and videos on how to enter the building was...

"What a beautiful property! The rooms are so gorgeous and the building as well...you feel like you are going back in time. The staff is amazing- we were given excellent recommendations by the woman at the check in and followed her advice and saw so much of Porto in 2 days! Definitely make it to the public garden down the block...Cristal Palace...stunning! The music from the restaurant was a little loud but they turned it down when we asked, so that was much appreciated. Breakfast was good and...

"The grounds, room, the bar and the spa were all top notch. Service in the restaurant and bar was very good and still friendly. Breakfast was a great spread every morning. We really enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach, restaurants and the city. We will absolutely be back!"

"The apartment was well kept spacious and clean. The property is close to many restaurants and easy access to public transport. Walkable distance to a few attractions also. Instructions were clear on how to check in after reception was closed. Note there is no elevator at the property and there are three floors, so consider accessibility when staying with heavy luggage or persons with limited mobility."
