"The entire motel is run down and dirty! The first room we were given had an unassembled AC unit on the floor next to the bed. The second room did not have running water. We went to the office again and were told that there was a pollution problem a few months ago, so just let the water run. We asked for a bottle of water to brush our teeth. They told us they don’t provide water to guests that we could go up the street to a store! We opened the tap when we returned to the room and the water...

"I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Somers Point, New Jersey. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout my visit. The parking area and surrounding grounds were well-lit and secure. My room exceeded expectations in both comfort and cleanliness. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"Place is absolutely disgusting. Hair all over the place, moldy dollar store shower curtain, toilet that continually runs, lights that don’t work, filthy appliances, trip hazards, no curtains stale pastries and a clown of a manger. Better off at any motel in the area. Maybe they need to run some scam to fix up the place???"

"The property was very clean. The staff was helpful. It was such a quiet place. Everything worked inside the room. I just couldn't get the tv to work. I had been coming there for a few years when I lived in Philly. I went back this time, and I see they are still keeping their same excellent status. I would go back."

"Had a corner room with balcony facing south and a window east so saw sunrise and sunset. Weather cooperated and Long Beach walks. Breakfast was fresh, bountiful and delicious. Waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Would recommend this hotel without reservation "

"Our first surprise was the $75 PER NIGHT pet cleaning fee. This might have been understandable if they had cleaned our room at all during our stay. We didn't see a soul the entire time. We were all alone in the hotel and surrounding restaurant. Good thing we didn't need clean towels. No services whatsoever. They gave us a key and told us to lock up when we left. Kind of like The Shining. But with waves. "

"Outdated, webs and dust in the room. Didn't look like bedding was changed. We slept on top of the blanket. Cigarette holes in blanket. Duck tape on the wall to cover up a whole. The water in the bathroom had a strong smell of lead or iron."
