"Very comfortable and well kept room. Ample size, quiet and with everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant each of our three evenings and everything was well prepared, very tasty and LARGE! Service was very good and always with a smile. We both loved the continental style breakfast too. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The location of the accommodation was perfect, being well placed for trips to all our usual, and oft-visited haunts including Dorchester, Wareham and...

"Staff very welcoming and professional. Room lovely, bed comfy but think they should have one firm pillow and one soft pillow on bed. 1st morning breakfast - cereal and yoghurts variety and toaster available for use but 2nd morning nothing laid out no cereal and yoghurt or toast so was limited. Iron ironing board and hairdryer a bonus. The layout of the restaurant and decor had a relaxing cost ambience. Over all happy to go back and have recommended to to family who have already booked in. "

"My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay."

"My laptop was stolen by a member of staff. I entrusted my carryon bag to the hotel staff for a 2 hour period and on my return found my laptop missing from the bag. Management said they reviewed the CCTV footage for the 2 hour period and the staff member was the only person entering the room - so that person should be held accountable. I got no compensation and was told to contact the police as my only remedy. In my view, the hotel is not guest friendly. "

"While the host was very friendly, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the shower, and felt that the floors could have been cleaner, over all it could have been cleaner, although the bedding and towels were nice fresh and clean. Breakfast was a disaster, mouldy bread, mouldy fruit in the fridge, things way past their use by/ best before dates "
