2/10, Horrible

First it's not really a hotel and not a "boutique" hotel. Really it's just a house in a suburban area converted into an Airbnb. I stayed here a week and experienced many problems like poor wifi signal and the A/C unit was gushing water down the kitchen wall for 2 days. Santiago is hot & humid so the manager offered another room for my 2nd night without A/C, however it didn't want the cleaning lady to have to re-clean so I stayed in the same room and used a fan 2nd night. After the first night I reported the faulty A/C unit and they said they'd send a repair person the next day, but to my surprise they didn't bother to come until late afternoon. Then the manager fixed the A/C problem in 30 seconds without any tools. So I was very surprised why someone couldn't have come before to fix it - instead of making me wait all day in a hot room? As my pictures show the room they call a "suite" is just a small, 1 room studio apartment with a kitchenette and bathroom. The shower was faulty and I only managed to have hot water for 1 day only. As you can see in the photos to reach my"suite" room, you must use an outside, very narrow staircase to reach the room. It rains a lot in Santiago so metal stairs are very slippery and nowhere in their advertising does it show you'll have a narrow, outdoor staircase to navigate. Lastly Expedia asked me to request a final bill from Monstserat, but they flatly refused me. This sad place knows nothing about hospitality! Not worth the $295 for the week!
