"Hotel is fine for the price incl. a good breakfast buffet and parking. East to get to a P&R with charging and take the bus into Edinburgh. The hotel bar in the evening was not too wide a choice and when it got difficult to make a cocktail they stopped serving cocktails and only offered easy serves."

"We spent one night on our way to the airport. Two things to note: the hotel is right beside a very busy train track. If you are a light sleeper, then you should absolutely bring earplugs. Secondly, it costs 15 pounds to park overnight as the car park is privately operated. It's the first time I experience that, and given the price we paid for the hotel for one night I found it usurious. It is also not disclosed until after you book."

"1. Room had cat hair and cat food on the carpet and under the couch 2. Room did not have hot water for showers in the AM. 3. Shower water was scalding hot on the lowest setting (when there was hot water). 4. Stayed for 5 nights (Tuesday - Saturday), two nights had wedding receptions and one night there was a high school prom. Common areas looked trashed the next day (beer bottles, confetti and trash littered about). Also - loud music till late and just filled with loud people. 5. ...

"I liked the restaurant/bar area with lovely views over Edinburgh. Free parking is great and a great bust service to most places. A nice walk into the centre and The Castle. 20 mins walk to Morningside/Bruntsfield where there are lovely places to eat, have coffee/cocktails. Downside are the rooms, which are very tired and in need of renovation. I believe this is going to happen. Grand old building"

"this hotel is very convenient and walkable to the airport as long as you have a roller bag. The spaces are generic and industrial but work just fine for an airport hotel. Staff was helpful. The breakfast was good. The dinner choices were limited."

"We enjoyed everything about the hotel. The only thing that we did not like is that it it's classified as an airport hotel but it is quite a distance from the Edinburgh airport. They offer a shuttle, but it fills up and was hard to book for our flight."
