"Excellent weekender. I stopped in on my drive up to Denmark. I had the attic room, wonderful appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and great view of the garden. Very clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were very friendly as were the locals. It’s a convenient location too, lots of great sites just a short drive away. I would stay again. "

"Excellent hotel! Spending eight days there was my best decision! Nice countryside, kind attentions in the hotel, good breakfast, and very clean and comfortable! And just 20 minutes from Groningen city centre by bus, the bus stop is pretty close to the hotel you can go walking, also you can visit Aduard Village, which is very nice as well. And the most important if you don't speak Dutch is that people in the hotel can speak to you in English very well!"

"This is my new favorite hotel in the Netherlands. The staff is very warm and welcoming, my room was ENORMOUS, the setting is a rural village and the hotel is a 19th century hospital conversion. High ceilings and classic architecture. Biggest bonus was a forest walking trail behind the hotel. This place was ideal for me and my dog! Will definitely return!"

"The room was advertised at Hotels.com as having a separate living room. It wasn't the case. It was a very nice room, with a bathtub and a nice shower. But the views were literally a mall (people from a nearby shop could see you), and a dock for loading/unloading trucks. Which made it very noisy in the mornings. Also, none of the usual amenities of a hotel that expensive: minibar, room service, etc. Nowadays, seems like a hotel room can be considered luxurious just by having Rituals...
