We absolutely loved this lodge. The privacy was exceptional, and the property is located on a beautifully maintained farm with fresh, clean country air.
Being so close to Hobbiton made the experience even more special. Waking up in the morning felt like stepping into Hobbiton itself, surrounded by peaceful farmland and stunning scenery.

"This is a lovely and well equipped cottage though was a little chilly the night with a heavy frost (until we located the heater!)
It was also a bit confusing to locate, as it is up several driveways, past other houses, but we got there without too much trouble!"

"Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."

"The host contacted us confirming they were not available to meet us due to travel, check in details were clear and easy to follow, unfortunately the outside cooking facility's had not been cleaned since the last guest so were unusable, the unit was clean and tidy but a kitchen sauce left in the unit had mould in the jar, this unfortunately soured our view and put us off eating at the unit.
