"I have now stayed here 3times in 6 weeks I love the place staff brilliant I travel to watch Wigan at rugby league 230 miles each time as for the beds the most comfortable I have had and I do not stay in the same room different each time wake up really refreshed love the place"

He couldn’t fix it so said he would speak to reception and ask for us to be moved, we waited an hour then went to reception the message had not been passed on. "Parking was good with plenty of room. Staff were good. Room was clean and tidy."

"No staff Andy did not see. Bathroom was a DIY nightmare. Cooker oven broken. Wall paper falling off on stairs. Must have been the smallest room double bed with foot space around edge . Could only open bathroom door half way because of space in room 3 "

"We stayed at the Red Lion for a few days as we were meeting family. The accommodation is situated at the back of the pub and is bright and clean. You can access it by walking through the pub or walking round the back. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy when the pub is open! It’s situation means you have easy access to get to many places by road very quickly. The staff who work there are fantastic and very helpful.
