"Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!"

"We enjoyed this cabin very much. Secluded and away from the traffic and noise of life is what we were looking for and definitely found it in this cozy, beautiful cabin. Hopefully it stays this way and we will definitely be back many times in the future. Very clean, warm, and loved the kitchen was stocked. I did forget a couple spices but found some in the cabinet. That was a nice surprise. Loved there were robes available also. Beautiful scenic views. We are already talking about reserving...

"The cabin was great. The one piece of advice I will offer is DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS TO THE ADDRESS ON THE LISTING!!! Follow the written directions the host provides. Our GPS took us a way that was impassable and locked with a gate. The roads around the property are gravel/dirt with plenty of tire-popping potholes. Be very careful. The cabin was great except for the beds. We ended up leaving one night early because we couldn't get a full night's sleep on either the bed upstairs nor the pull-out...

"Came in from Huntington, wanted a place that was close distance for walking for food and drink. How could you go wrong with a name like THE ALE HOUSE? Relaxed in the apartment, walked to Big Timber had some libations and rested well. Though downtown, it was super quiet, clean, and very homey. Will stay here again! Loved it!"

"We met some old friends of ours for a weekend stay. The place was perfect for 2 couples- 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and we shared the common area kitchen. we were too busy catching up to use the hot tub or the sauna. We could have used some more kitchen cleaning stuff (a sponge, scrubber or brush) but we made it work. When we got there the place was immaculately clean. I highly recommend. "
