"Pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel is! Not being familiar with the area, We did a last minute booking so the rates were much lower than was expected for fall foliage, so I was not sure what I was walking into, but Let me tell you it’s our new getaway! Staff was so kind and friendly, very clean overall, not just the room, it smells fresh everywhere we went, breakfast was a bonus! Loved the kid friendly lounge areas as my kiddos get bored in the room. Just a great overall experience!...

"Dowds' Country Inn was beautiful and picturesque, and charming in that way that only old buildings can be. The sign was very difficult to read at night, but once we found the place, we loved it. Just beyond the inn parking lot you could see a beautiful herb and vegetable garden. The entryway was beautiful and inviting.
