"What a lovely property with lovely hosts. Made us feel welcome and relaxed. Breakfast is just great! Full English, whatever you like, loads of options like cereals, crumpets, breakfast bars, fruit, yoghurts, waffles to name a few. Hosts attentive and eager to please while being friendly too. "I had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast with my mum. Gary and Philip were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from, providing a perfect start to each day. The property was very clean and well-maintained. One of the best parts was how quiet and soundproof the rooms were, ensuring a restful and peaceful night’s sleep. I highly recommend this B&B for anyone."

"We really enjoyed staying at Arran Lodge. Every single thing has been meticulously & tastefully done. We felt like we were staying at a four star hotel with the loveliest owners ever! Ashtray is provided for the balcony’s if needed! A beautiful clean room with fridge, fresh milk & bottled water daily, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, cakes! There’s a hairdryer & iron too. "A lovely clean and friendly place to stay. Very comfortable beds, nice decor, ample amenities for us. Lin, who runs this business is incredibly warm and attentive. She offered additional fresh chilled milk or water from the fridge conveniently located in the pretty dining room and asked if we wanted breakfast or some lunch. "Home now after a very enjoyable weekend stay at The Imperial Hotel to celebrate a friend’s birthday and retirement. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made us and our friends feel very welcome and not like we were ‘just another guest’. We ate in both the restaurant and bar area and the meals were a good size and tasty. Breakfast was plentiful with gluten free and milk alternatives available upon request. "The young men monitoring the front desk and the dining facilities were the best! Very helpful with assistance in what was needed.The hotel was close enough to the town centre but was on a slope. The room was very clean, but the bed was also on a slight slope- that was fixed by inserting a pillow under the mattress. "So where do I start!! Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th birthday for the weekend. As soon as we arrived at the property we were greeted by John and Julie a lovely couple who run the hotel. They immediately ask if we wanted a drink, as was given a lovely tea and slice of homemade lemon cake which was perfect after our long drive.
