"Property was exactly as described very relaxing and clean environment. The only complaint I have is the wasps it felt like every time I went outside I was being swarmed by them, but I didn’t get stung. I opted to use the back door instead of the front door and the problem pretty much solved itself. Other than that. The property was absolutely amazing and a great deal! The cinnamon rolls are to die for and are better than JB Jones bakery! Will be returning soon!!!!"

"We love this spot. It’s a little slice of heaven for our family. Hot tub, lake to swim and fish, fire pit by the lake, big canoe to enjoy on the lake, tucked away and private. My 9 year old son loved fishing and landed many blue gil, a few bass, and even a catfish. It’s just such a peaceful spot while having modern needs such as WiFi - which we rarely used with the abundance of nature around us. Highly recommend this wonderful spot."

"When we arrived, the keypad wouldn’t work but fortunately the front door was unlocked. The host returned our phone call eventually, but cell service is very poor in that area. Overall, the stay was excellent. You do have to haul off your own trash, which is a little frustrating considering we also paid a cleaning fee, but the dump is close by. The house is super spacious and the windows in the living room are BEAUTIFUL! Great view and amazing sunsets! We loved the house!"

"We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked....

"Our family had an amazing stay at this lake house. We visit Lake Gaston several times a year, and this was truly one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. The house was beautiful, fully equipped, and comfortably accommodated our multigenerational family of ten. We absolutely loved the pool and hot tub — they were highlights of our stay.
