"We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. "Really enjoyed 2 nights at this property. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view over the peaceful countryside. Although not large we had what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful adding to the cosy atmosphere in the bar/lounge/dining areas. Breakfast was more than adequate and would recommend the restaurant meals."

"It's in a remote location which is nice if you want to get away from it all. Good value. The sat navigation took us down a very potholed road but the road on the other side was in better condition so just something to be aware of. Characterful hotel, particularly the foyer. The breakfast was ok, very filling. Service was a bit chaotic with no plates when we arrived so had to wait. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff were welcoming. The games room has seen better days. "

"Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard."
