Lakes Hotel and Spa
The hotel is very well decorated and looks lovely! The spa is lovely, we used it 2 out of 3 days, hot tubs lovely and warm, also has a cold pool, sauna and steam room, all very good! Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa
Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed ...

What a wonderful lodge. Clean, tidy and very welcoming. Perfect for our stay. Great site, with decent club house and located perfectly for local attractions. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.
