"The Hidden Gem — Honest ReviewThe Hidden Gem has potential, and our host was very nice and accommodating. The location worked well for what we needed, but unfortunately, the property itself was disappointing. The camping trailer is very run down and needs significant updating. Some lights were broken or didn’t work, duct tape was holding part of the bedroom ceiling in place, the bedroom carpet looked dirty, and there was mold on the shower curtain. The electrical outlets were also concerning, as...

"Great place with a great location. Parking was smooth with easy street parking that the host registered us for so we didn’t have to move our car. Bed was super comfortable and it was great having the front room that overlooked the park. Walking access to a number of great bars and restaurants. Also loved walking through the park in the morning. It is a 3rd floor walk-up, so be prepared for that. It worked fine for us, but may be difficult if you have mobility concerns. "This place was magical. Rooms were clean. Same amenities as a hotel. Blow dryer available! Mini fridge and a sheet for blinds if you need. The snow falling in the early morning was the highlight of the cabin stay. Very beautiful! There were two campfires and snores every night from 5-1pm. Very cute! Cabins are about 50-100ft from parking so be prepared to walk in snow after parking your care. You can get closer to a loading zone to load things into and out of cabins if needed though. String...

"I stayed while working at Albany Medical Center, and it was a perfect location for this! I could walk to the hospital, shops and restaurants. The apartment was cute, quiet and very clean. It was a great place to come home to after a busy day. Michaela, the host, was very helpful and responsive -- checking in on my stay. I appreciated the available washer and dryer.
