"Nice staff and big room"

"The hotel is in a lovely spot, overlooking the sea, but there is very little around and about…everything seemed to be shut (end of May). The rooms are nice, if a bit dated, and the pool area is clean and well kept. Only thing was the noise from the building work on site meant you couldn’t really relax easily on the sunloungers. Food was lovely - great breakfast."

"this hotel is a treasure. The proprietor and his staff are wonderful and gracious. There is even a dog on site. Be aware it is not close to the beach by foot and is down the hill from Tower Meena so you need a car or will rely on taxis. You may be very glad you stayed outside of the city walls because it is calm and beautiful here."

The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. We also ate an evening meal there and it was delicious. Centrally located for for exploration of the etna region. Room was very clean. "The "total spa" experience is very underwhelming. Access to a sauna, steam room, is not a "total" experience. The foot treatment consisting of ruining a walk on progressively more painful rocks was so bad we had to laugh. But... rooms were good and the staff were very pleasant. Everything else, that is standard, was really good."
