"Great location - directly opposite tessellated pavement and a short walk to the sandy beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Booked a Mountain View Superior King Room. Room was very clean and tidy. Bit on the small side, but very fresh (recently renovated) and comfortable. Room had no A/C, even though advertised that it did - this made the room a bit stuffy overnight. Dined at restaurant - staff very friendly, prompt service, and very good meal. Plenty of onsite parking, though...

"As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but! The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where...

"The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at t he restaurant was great. However, the restaurant indicated it was open in the morning, but it was not open. The grounds provided lots of bird watching opportunities. "

"Iron Creek Bay is not centrally located but an easy drive to town centre and restaurants. Onsite restaurant is not opened for dinner so we cannot comment on the restaurant The place is serene and wonderful with lots of animals roaming around. The orchards have many fruit trees. It's very peaceful there. Our unit is basic and small but clean and adequate for two. Noise insulation is not good as we can hear the conversation and TV of the next room. Our unit is the second from the building...
