"This was one of the best vacations we have had in a very long time--completely restful and exactly what we needed. The rental and the location were the reason is was such a great vacation. "Great place, right on the lake. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds - nice bedrooms upstairs. A/C in every room, including upstairs. Plenty of space for our whole family to gather, play games, etc. The porch was great - lots of seating, and the weather was nice enough that we had a lot of our meals on the porch. Price included two kayaks - needed to fill out waiver to get the combo to unlock them (not a con - just be aware that you'll need to allow a little time to fill out the waivers,...

"We had a very pleasant stay. It was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped and the essentials were supplied. It had a beautiful lake front view and very nice yard. We had kayaks and a canoe available to use and there was a family of swans that were beautiful to watch. I would like to note that there are lily pads/weeds that go about thirty feet out from shore, so it’s not very swimmable from shore. This didn’t affect us because we were swimming elsewhere or...

"We were in town for a wedding. The house was very conveniently located next to the river, along with easy access to downtown. Very clean and cozy. "

"My daughter got married and utilized the Lakeview Banquet Center on Round Lake. We are from the Detroit area and needed accommodations near the venue and this cottage was perfect!! It was beautiful, quiet, clean and so convenient for our activities for the weekend. My husband and I were definitely discussing coming back for a getaway in the future. The hosts really make you feel welcome and definitely thought of lots of small touches. "

"We rented the property for 4 weeks. Needed a property with a fenced in backyard that would accommodate our 2 dogs. Although the home was older, it was well maintained. The neighbors were friendly. The property manager was excellent with managing the check-in process and was available and prompt in responding to questions. Enjoyed our stay!!!"
