"Cabin 1 has amazing views. It was breathtaking to soak in the hot tub and look out across the valley toward Pilot Mt. The cabin itself was rustically perfect for my husband, our golden retriever and myself. It provided everything we needed. Toiletries and linens were provided and very nice. Bed was comfortable. "This property is close to Stone Mountain and relatively close to Elkin if needed.Their is agas operated shower in a bath house which was wonderful. The codes worked well to get in I love the tap light next to bed.The parking area was ample as I have a full sized pickup. Heard turkeys and saw other wildlife .Love the chair in the front and read and drank coffee. There is a water machine that gives you hot water or cold cold water out of the same machine. Well organized and well thought out!"

"We had a great week in the mountains! This was a getaway for just the two of us (and our fur baby) and this cabin fit the bill. While it was much more space than we needed, it’s a great house in a peaceful setting surrounded by farms and beautiful rolling hills! House is well-stocked with all the essentials. "We stayed for a family get together, the space was nice but for a larger group (7) the kitchen was small. We used paper plates and plasticware to keep down on dishes but there is only one outside trash can and with a larger group including an infant trash was taken out more often and accumulated quickly.
