"Our family with a mix of Canadians and Ticos had the BEST time at Casa Cielo Rojo. House and property are gorgeous and Matt was an outstanding host!! Beautiful tropical landscaping and views of both mountains and ocean (at a distance) were highlights… stars were incredible at night!! House and casita are beautifully decorated and made the perfect location for our family meals… Location was super convenient to explore many beaches - with a little bit of a drive. In our experience, a 4x4 vehicle...

"The listed pictures doesn't do justice to this cabin. The property is super clean. It has huge decks on both floors with gorgeous view. There is an outdoor kitchen with all the basics for cooking a meal. The place is a little hard to find but our host Edward and Ruth met with us and led us to the cabin. We enjoyed being so close to the nature. "

"The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but...

"This is an unbeleivable property. The location is beyond compare and the proximity to the village of Dominical (within walking distance) offered a good variety of restaurants and shops.The attention to detail by our hosts Robert and Whitney was exceptional-whether you need water toys, binoculars or a cork screw you didn't need to ask-everything is provided. "The on-site staff were wonderful. But the room was not ready at check in time. It smelled like dogs. There was black mold on the bed. Super loud traffic noise all night. "
