"This is an excellent property. Very historic, rustic and with great views across the Tuscan landscapes. Lorenzo and his mother were super duper hosts who took great care of us. The property dates back to 1380 and the rooms are decorated with choicest artifacts that adds greatly to the experience. The location is fantastic too with the local market and restaurants in easy walking reach. The breakfast service is fabulous with many choices and Lorenzo himself is great chef as well! Highly recommend...

"Authentic 13th century building with so much character and charm. The room was very unique and opened to a lovely courtyard. The location was great, and very close to the gate. "The location is awesome. Very close by of Florence downtown near the Tram. However, our bathroom had mold and the shower had jets that were blacked inside. Our AC in the bedroom was leaking into the bed and didn’t keep us cool. We also went at the restaurant on site and reserved a nice table. When we arrived for dinner they switched our table and we didn’t get the view we wanted. The pool is great for kids. It could be a great place full of potential but it is very run down."

"I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient and a quick walk to the metro, attractions and many dining options. The room provided many extra amenities such as water, coffee and bathroom slippers. The air conditioning unit in my room was very weak but kept the room tolerable. In hindsight, I should have asked for a fan. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again."
