"The room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent...quiet and beautiful ....Windermere has everything from supermarkets to craft and walking gear shops, pubs to a variety of restaurants. We parked the car in front of The Hideaway, it was just a few minutes walk into the town, and we could also easily drive out to other locations. "We had a fantastic time at the Royal Oak. All of the staff were really nice and looked after us. We stayed in Room 15 which is on the top floor and is nice and cozy, very clean and had aircon. The complimentry tea, coffe and water was good quality along with the bathroom products which were also available at the shop in the main square. Breakfast was 10/10 in terms oif quality (locally sourced) and choice. "
