"The property itself needs some major work done, it’s a great spot but very tired looking. If they did it up it would be great. Staff were great and so were the meals but overall needs a Reno!"

"I love the quirkiness of The Anchorage - have stayed there many times. The location is great - I didn’t use the car while there. Was a little disappointed that the cafe no longer serves breakfast - and that it was closed Friday - but I survived :)"

"Never saw a staff member Kiosk was never opened Bought an icy pole from vending machine which was horrid Microwave was far too small could not cook A bag of pop corn properly Heated up some soup in soup bowls and had to clean the microwave Needs microwave safe bowls or a cover Bed was comfy"

"This is restful bush retreat with an environmental consciousness. A place to turn off your screens and look out onto lovely pastural views and observe the natural environment outside your door. The units are clean, bright and comfortable with the door open to fresh air. I enjoyed my tea n’ toast outside listening to the morning birdsong. Great coffee / bakery a few mins drive. Bring a good book and your walking shoes! "

"Great location if you are planning to take the ferry to Kangaroo Island. There is a pub accross the street for food. Room is spacious and comfortable. The only problem was that there was a rodent trying to get into our snacks and eat my vitamins and medici left on the counter for the next morning."
