"The staff was absolutely terrific. Every one. They were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Always willing to go above and beyond. The room was well set up. The location was very convenient to the sites we really wanted to visit in Edinburgh and to Waverly Station, which gave us the opportunity to go further afield. Loudons was just around the corner and we had an excellent breakfast there every morning of our stay. The staff there was just as wonderful as the food was."

"Un excelente hotel a unos pasos de la calle principal de Edimburgo. Las habitaciones son muy buenas y tienen una mini cocineta. El personal muy amable. A un minuto de la catedral y unos metros del castillo. Ideal. Lo recomiendo ampliamente."

"We were very happy with this property. We had a last minute change to our plans and had to upgrade to a family room which happened smoothly. Great communication with the staff, easy check in and check out and a lovely and spacious clean apartment! Also a very nice location, not far from the train station and the city center. "

"Wonderful property! Spacious apartment with great amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. A/C and heat. The location is perfect—tucked down a quiet street but within a five minute walk to downtown. Friendly staff. Would definitely return! "

"Great location in New Town with Old Town just few walkable minutes away. Tram & main train station nearby. Could enjoy Fringe, Tatoo, Film and Book festivals and come back to comfortable space. Loved the secret garden. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Sonder Royal Garden!"

"I would like to mention Liam and Linsey who were both extremely helpful when we arrived at the hotel. Liam went out of his way to sort our rooms out and assisted us to our rooms. Linsey was also super helpful on check out. The hotel was in a great location and was great for a big group of friends who were doing a charity walk. Friends from Ireland too details as said they would stay again. "

"It's a central location in old town: 5 minutes from Castle and 2 minutes to Royal mile. Victoria street is next over so it gets a 5 star for location. That comes with its own downside, loud noise from bars was audible well into the night even with the windows closed. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Living room and kitchen are downstairs and king bed and sofa bed are upstairs. We were 2 adults and a kid and were comfortable. The only problem was the thermostat which had its own mind....

"The bed is incredibly comfortable. The rooms are clean and very quaint. The area around there is perfect in the sense that it is quiet, but there’s outstanding dining and you could walk to the older part of town. The only confusing part is that you need to check in by the iPad. This is easily figured out, but it does add a wrinkle after your transatlantic flight. I would definitely stay here again. It is a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it. I really like the lounge where they have great...

"This property was great for two couples sharing expenses and each having a king bed with separate bathrooms. It was close to the tram station for getting back to the airport and it was in the heart of the old town. The place was clean and luxurious. Our unit was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator but it was not an issue for us."
