Surrounded by trees, moments from the beach, Walamba House is ideal for enjoying with friends or family. Savour complete privacy in a central location - close to the beach, cafe, arboretum, tennis courts, bush walks and more. Walamba House blends peace and tranquility with proximity and convenience perfectly.

Our home away from home has all the comforts you expect - wifi (NBN), air conditioning in every room, ceiling fans and a combustion fireplace with the fire set out and ready to light in winter.

Our beds and pillows are super comfy. Main room has a king size bed and ensuite, the front room has a queen size bed and the middle bedroom contains 2 single beds and a trundle. We have luxurious sheets, bedding and bath towels for all our guests. We have a portacot that fits into any of the rooms and we can also offer a bed guard for little ones transitioning to a big bed.

Our main bedroom has an ensuite and the main bathroom features a separate toilet. There is also an outdoor shower to clean off all the sand before coming inside.

The kitchen is set up for cooking - with a good supply of essentials including oil, gladwrap, foil, tea and coffee (and a little pod coffee machine) to help you settle in. We even offer a rice cooker and slow cooker - so you can really cook up a storm if you like.

The dining table is large and extends. Outdoors, our dining area comfortably sits 8. We have high chairs and a toddler chair for our smaller guests.

The laundry is fully decked out - washer and dryer, plus clothesline and smaller clothes horse. We supply detergent, stain removers and pegs etc.

Outdoors in the courtyard we have a large dining table and a modular lounge set which can transform into a relaxing daybed. There is a big BBQ - just watch out for the kookaburras when cooking!

There is space for everyone to spread out and relax. Find your favourite chair, and do as little as you like. We have lots of books in the house to browse and read.

We can also supply beach toys for the kids and have a couple of boogie boards - as well as other toys in the house, including a great doll house.

Ask us about staying mid week for the ultimate ‘work from home’ experience. It’s truly a relaxing and immersive place to get lots done away from the office. Spurring your creativity or the seclusion for deep concentration. You won’t want to leave at the end of the week. We can offer great mid week stay deals.

The house was clean, fresh, well equiped with comfortable furniture and good WiFi. The location was quiet and secluded and a very short walk to the beach. Our host was friendly and communicative.

We loved this delightful quiet home as it was tucked away, private and close to the beach. Loved the fire! Lots of room. We weren’t used to pearl beach flies so next time we will bring body spray. We made friends with a greedy magpie!

Average house; good location

The house is average overall. It is spacious and suited for children however it could do with a deep clean. It also has no curtains in the lounge area looking out to the main road, and the bedroom curtains are not block out. Water pressure for showers is poor. Excellent location being close to the beach. Although no food shops or any shops in the suburb. Closest is a 10 minute drive.

Lovely house; unexpected peace

This is simply a beautiful house; very well equipped and supplied, with a lovely host. A very short walk to the beach and outlooks from the windows that make you feel miles away because most of what you can see is temperate rainforest. Nice touches for families: beach cricket set; doll house; lovely kids room; games. Raucous birdsong in the morning. Thoroughly recommend!

Why travel overseas?

Pearl Beach is fantastic. We especially loved the arboretum and the restaurant Amalfi, but also enjoyed strolling around the village and the beach, and a visit to Patonga. And to return each time to Walamba House was so good - a peaceful hideaway surrounded by native forest. We had everything we needed, except perhaps a potato peeler!

Tranquil weekender

Located next to quiet bushland yet only minutes to the beach, this house is in a perfect location. We liked the spaciousness of the living room and the comfortable dining area that easily accommodated our family of six. The kitchen is well equipped. There is also an undercover outside area with barbecue and a grassed fully fenced level backyard. We enjoyed our weekend in Walamba House.

Everything was as expected for our Pearl beach weekend away. The house was spacious and comfortable. A peaceful location with a forest outlook, yet at the same time, close to the shop, cafe and beach.

Nice property for a weekend stay.

The property was in a beautiful location and was exactly as the photos showed. The beds were comfy and was lovely to have available items for children (books, doll house etc). The house did smell a little musty (I assume because the home had been closed up due to the large amount of rain recently). The sky lights could also do with a clean. Overall, a lovely property and enjoyable stay.

Great relaxing location and lovely house

It was a great stay. Lots of living space. Close to the beach and cafe. Facilities and beds were excellent. Had been informed by the owner that one of those ongoing battles that we all have with the relevant authorities re wi fi connection had not yet been resolved but on top of that we struggled to enjoy the free tv. Reception was bad and remote didn't work properly. So until that's resolved as long as television isn't a major need then its a great property to stay at and Mark is on hand locally should there be a need.

A Beautiful home in a great location!

Amazing location- just a short stroll to the beach and local cafe. The house itself is really lovely, the beds are super comfy and we loved relaxing by the fire. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great holiday home

A perfect location, one block back from the beach. The home is bright and nicely furnished. Very comfortable beds. A nice private outdoor area and backyard. The hosts communicate very well. Definitely would come again.

Private and close to everything

Despite the extreme weather when I was there, I really loved the house and location and would absolutely stay there again. The house is surrounded by lush rainforest and only 3 mins walk to the beach and eateries. House is super clean and kitchen well equipped. TV has Netflix, Stan, Amazon which was appreciated on our rainy stay :) Bed and pillows were super comfy. Also very quick to answer my questions before our stay.

4.5 stars - Great location and layout

I would probably give 4.5 stars if there was an option for half stars. Clean, well located property with everything you need for a family getaway and responsive communication. We will be back. Some minor areas for improvement: * no fire guard on the fire so we did not use it (we have a toddler, this might not be an issue for older kids) - it was all set up for use on arrival though, looked great! * the internet did not work for most (if not all, we didn’t check the first day) the time we were there. We were told that this was due to high winds in the area, but our friends who live locally did not have the same issue so this could be due to the particular ISP for the house. In short, if you need the internet for work or other reasons, bring your own hotspot.

Short Break

We visited Pearl Beach as a short break. Meeting friends at Pearlies Restaurant for a lovely lunch to celebrate a 60th. Recomment this Restaurant. The house was very central to everywhere, clean and private. The bed was very comfortable as advertised. The Fire was ready for us to light on arrival. Very private home and adequate for our short stay. Plenty of room. Being winter, a little cold to utilise the outdoor BBQ area. We also did the fire trail walk from Pearl Beach to Patonga w ith Lunch at the Pub. Great day out. Thank You Sally for letting us enjoy your home. The only negative comment, maybe the front yard could be tidied up a bit and we didn't know that we could not get any free to air television.

Great Location

Sally was great when it came to communication. It put my mind at ease given I haven’t had too many trips away with my 3.5 and 1.5 year olds. The house was in a great location. I have two active boys so it was great to be able to walk to the beach.
