"This cabin is so nicely decorated and a lot of thought was put into making sure we had everything we could want. Lots of extra blankets to cozy up by the fire, or read a book and enjoy the woods out on the deck. All the spices to add flavor to our meals, plus other staples like sugar and flour. Bed linens that were soft and warm (tons of pillows of every size and density), thick towels and make-up wipes. There’s even a bidet for those who are looking for that next level. "Very remote location- having a 4WD was helpful. Place was clean- no spiders or webs. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Would have been nice to have a space heater as the available heating is insufficient. Mattresses are a hard foam (some people may prefer this, but I was up all night). Much of the place has been renovated, but more is necessary. My adult daughter enjoyed our one night stay."

"The stay was disappointing due to cleanliness issues. The cutlery was not properly cleaned, and there was pet hair throughout the house, including on the bedding. This made the space feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. I hope the host can address these issues for future guests."

"Very nice mountain retreat with great views, relaxing setting & minutes away from the state park. The kitchen was fully equipped & bedrooms/baths were comfortable & clean. The host was very accommodating & called a few days before our stay to answer any questions, go over access/entry & review other particulars about the home to avoid any complications. He also checked-in during our time there to make sure everything was going well."
