"This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. "

"Very remote location- having a 4WD was helpful. Place was clean- no spiders or webs. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Would have been nice to have a space heater as the available heating is insufficient. Mattresses are a hard foam (some people may prefer this, but I was up all night). Much of the place has been renovated, but more is necessary. My adult daughter enjoyed our one night stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Ginger. We loved the seclusion and the view! We even had 7 deer visit one evening. The place was clean and comfortable! The decor is cute and the cupboards were clearly labled and everything that we needed was available for us! We had such a relaxing weekend. We definitely would love to come back!! Thank you so much!!!"

"Very nice and relaxing cabin! It is 20 min from the town and not much nearby so it’s very quiet. Everything was kept very clean. My son liked having his own room (although he complained the mattress wasn’t comfy he fell asleep fast). The hot tub was easy to use and clean. The only confusing part was Orbitz said check out was noon but the email from the owner said 11 the morning of so we had to rush out. I would definitely recommend this property though."
