"A wonderful relaxing stay, with the comfiest bed ever. The owners are lovely and all needs are catered for. The breakfasts are excellent and the attention to detail is beautiful. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back if you'll have us."

"Only stayed for 1 night as stop over for attending an event near by but wouldn't hesitate to stay longer. Great location and an easy 10 minute walk into the village centre. The chocolate bars were a welcome addition to our room and the offer of fresh milk a bonus. Free bottled water also a nice extra especially given how warm the weekend has been. Decent bathroom with lovely products that you can also purchase. I didn't eat in the restaurant but that was for no reason other than wanting to...

"First rate hotel- spotlessly clean large rooms with home comforts and comfortable bed. We were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. An example was a request for gluten free breakfast was made a perfect fried GF tasty sausage! We are looking forward to returning as we rate 10 out of 10!"

"This was the perfect stay over for a weekend with friends and family in the New Forest. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern in a very old hotel."

"Booked the room for a family event nearby. Were able to check in at 2pm, which was a bonus. Met by the owner who was very friendly and helpful and shown to our room which was very pleasant and clean. A Dyson fan on the room was much appreciated on a very hot day. Comfortable bed, great shower and nice breakfast. No negatives. Would highly recommend."

"I always stay at Ormonde House when I visit the new forest and it is ALWAYS a wonderful experience. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff who are always willing to stash my bag after I check out but before my train out). So much love to everyone at Ormonde House. I recommend it to friends but I also love to keep this little gem to myself!"

"Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. "

"Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good. "This was a great value Hotel and we will have no hesitation in booking again. Nothing elaborate and in a fairly old building, this hotel offered everything you will need. The stairs to our room at the top were steep but the bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the towels large and fluffy. Tea and coffee with a kettle were in the room. The breakfast included was really lovely. Full English with extras included. The town was in walking distance with pubs, shops, restaurants and an excellent...
