"The only reason for my stay is that it was night and I couldn't see the road in the thunderstorm. If there hadn't been a power outage, I would have chosen one of the other hotels next door. After checking in, I noticed this property used to belong to another company. It has not been renovated at all. The carpets are nasty. While the sheets and towels are dingy and some have stains, they did smell clean so at least they arè trying. I hope someone will see this and help the owners bring this...

"The house was absolutely beautiful. It had a gorgeous view off the balcony. There was deer out in the yard which was really cool ! My family said next time we come back we will definitely stay here if it is available!! "

"This was a great place to stay. More amenities than any other place I have been to. The only negative about the property is getting hit with an additional county tax that is not made apparent until after you book and pay. It was a small amount so it’s not a big deal but it should be included And mentioned upfront."

"Everything in every other review is accurate but there are so many other positive little things that make it a great place to stay...The bathrooms are HUGEThe water machineThe beds are so softThe kitchen is well stocked including spices and condimentsThe front porch with the fan and so much seatingIts so quiet!"

"Very Victorian main areas of house. Nicely modernized kitchen and bathrooms. Washer dryer and fully fenced back yard. The kitchen is large but not fully equipped for cooking. Limited pots pans and cookware. Overall a fun place to stay within the popular Harmer area."
