"The breakfast was excellent, parking was good. The bed made a lot of noise getting in and out of it, the mattress was in rough condition. The air conditioning was very noisy. There was no bureau in the room to put your clothes in."

"The breakfast menu was great! The person who puts on the breakfast continued non stop refreshing with hot food and making sure everything was clean, refilled, and in working order. On another note -The hot tub was running when I got in it. When the jets shut off after the other party departed I noticed it was dirty and everyone in my party received a rash/ irritation from where the jets hit us. "

"Smugglers Notch Inn is a charming place in northern Vermont. Just off of Route 15. Part of the property is 200 years old, the other part is more than 100 years old. Everything is beautifully appointed, the staff is very helpful, and there's a hot, made to order breakfast each morning. We would come here again."

The area did not feel safe, and the overall atmosphere around the hotel made us uncomfortable. There appeared to be long-term or low-income housing units in the building, with a lot of people and dogs coming and going, unusual smells throughout, and very limited amenities.
